Frequently asked questions

How does Eko work?

Eko turns your iPhone into a guitar pedalboard. It processes audio from your microphone (or a connected audio interface) in real time, so you hear effects applied to your guitar as you play. Build a board by adding pedals, adjust the knobs, and press Play. For the best experience, use headphones — this also avoids audio feedback.

How do I use the AI tones?

On the Search tab, type an artist or a sound you're after, and Eko builds a matching pedal chain for you. You can then tweak it and save it to your favorites.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Eko Pro is billed through your Apple ID. To view, change, or cancel it, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, select Eko, and choose your option. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current period.

How do I restore my purchase?

If you reinstalled the app or switched devices, open Eko, go to the subscription screen, and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple ID.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account and its data from within the app, in Settings. If you need help, email us at getekoapp@gmail.com.

Eko needs microphone access — why?

The microphone is used only to process your guitar's sound live, on your device. Eko does not record, store, or upload your audio. You can manage microphone access any time in your device settings.
