This Privacy Policy explains how Omry Hoomash ("Eko", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Eko mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We have designed Eko to collect only what is needed to run the App. We do not use your information for third‑party advertising, we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell your personal information or share it with data brokers.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information, all of which are used to operate and provide the App:

Purchase information Your subscription status and purchase history for Eko Pro. To provide and manage your subscription and access to paid features.
Device & notification data A push‑notification token for your device, collected only if you enable notifications. To deliver notifications you have opted into.
Usage information Basic product‑interaction data, such as activity timestamps and how often you use certain features (for example the number of AI requests). To operate features, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable.

Your password is handled directly by our authentication provider and is not stored by us in a form we can read.

2. Microphone and audio

Eko processes audio from your device's microphone in real time, on your device, so you can hear effects applied to your guitar as you play. We do not record, store, or transmit your audio off the device, and your audio is not sent to us or to any third party. Microphone access is requested only for this live‑processing feature, and you can revoke it at any time in your device settings.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your information on the following legal bases: to perform our contract with you (providing the App and your subscription); our legitimate interests (keeping the App secure, reliable, and free of abuse); your consent (for the microphone and for push notifications, which you can withdraw at any time); and to comply with a legal obligation.

5. Service providers and how information is shared

We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf to run the App. They are permitted to use it only to provide their services to us. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with data brokers.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or Eko.

6. Data retention

We keep your account information and saved tones for as long as your account is active. The text you enter for AI generation is sent to our processor to return a result and is not retained by us as a stored history; we keep only aggregate counts needed to operate usage limits. Push tokens are kept while notifications are enabled and are removed when you disable them, sign out, or delete your account. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we are required to retain it by law.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can:

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. If you are in California, we do not sell or "share" your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Children's privacy

Eko is a general‑audience app and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. International transfers

We and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will provide a more prominent notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
